About Us
It was the day that my daughter shoved a book about
pet sitting in front of me at the local library
exclaiming, “This is what you need to be doing
Mom!”, that the idea for Saddle Ridge Pet Sitting was
spawned.
As a school teacher, mother of 3 grown children, and
a pet owner, my experiences have centered around
children and of course, animals. While raising my
children, I fostered animals for the local humane
society, which included taking care of a variety of
animals, working with local veterinarians, and
interviewing prospective new owners.
I understand the bond between people and their
pets. Some of my best friends are animals! I have
used pet sitting services myself for my own pets. It is
wonderful to know while you are away that your pet is
safe at home in familiar surroundings, and being
cared for by a professional pet sitter.
